Major results to date "Bringing Scotty Allan home & having good mates who know what it takes." On Boxing Day 2002 the centre celebrated its first year. Two of the most
extreme sled dog explorers the world has ever seen spent the day with
my family & good friends. In 1969 Sir Wally Herbert & Allan Gill
set off from Alaska to Spits Bergen the journey took them 16 months with
40 sled dogs & was the first and only surface crossing of the Arctic
Ocean . |
