Meet our team and have as much hands-on with the dogs as you want, with spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains and the wildlife in the surrounding area.

Be a part of a real sleddog adventure by helping to prepare a 12 dog team, then be taken by dog team and guide into some of the very best scenic routes in the Cairngorms with breathtaking panoramic views of mountain ranges.Very often on this trip you will be getting close to herds of wild red deer and other wildlife which live in the National Park. The remote forest in this area is alive with wildlife.

You will arrive at a forest bush camp where you will help secure the team, help water and snack them and enjoy a short break, brew up a cup of coffee/tea in one of our shelters.
We then hook up the team again andmake our way back to the centre via some of the most hair raising and exiting trails in Europe for sleddogs.

This really is a great way to get a true insight into the life of a working sleddog team.

Come and meet our wonderful team of professional sleddogs. this is a great way to get a brief insight into the history of the sport and the worldof working selddogs. The Carngorm Sleddog Centre is dedicated to Scotty Allan "King of the Arctic Trails" and you will be able to find out all about this great pioneer in the centres dedicated museum. You will also learn about the great sleddog races which many of the top mushers in Alaska, Canada, Europe and America still compete in today, including the Iditarod, The Last Great Race on Earth.
